The Connecticut Young Writers Trust proudly announces its first year of electronic submissions for the annual writing competition. Prose and poetry entries will be accepted from now until March 31, 2012.
The deadline has passed and we are no longer accepting entries for the 2012 competition.

WHO CAN ENTER?
Connecticut Young Writers between the ages of 13 and 18 (13, 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 during school year 2011- 12) are eligible to submit their original prose or poetry. Prose entries may include essays, short stories, reviews, plays, research papers or news articles.
A teacher in a public or private school must nominate entries for the competition. Home school nominations are also accepted.
